The Maverick R is the top of Can-Am's sport lineup, and the most powerful side-by-side they build. A turbocharged triple-cylinder Rotax puts out 240 horsepower through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that shifts in about two tenths of a second with no torque interruption at the wheels, and three drive modes including an anti-lag system in Sport+.

Underneath it is a heavy-duty tall-knuckle suspension on a 77-inch stance with 17 inches of ground clearance, on FOX QS3 shocks — or Smart-Shox with FOX Live Valve semi-active damping on the packages that carry it. In the cockpit, a 10.25-inch touchscreen runs navigation and phone apps through the BRP GO! app, with JL Audio available.
